23 Adar 5770: Had I known then what I know now I'd have entitled my post Besimcha, Emunah, Bitul instead. Thanks to my learning partner Rebbe Nachum of Teverya I have begun a serious research into SIMCHA (J O Y) and how it brings us to Emunah (Faith) which brings us to Bitul (Letting Go, Letting Hashem). Emunah Diet: STEP NINE

22 Adar 5770: Step 9 of the Emunah Diet. Introducing Shivron Lev into your life. Rebbe Nachman teaches that a Broken Heart (Shivron Lev) brings one to simcha (J O Y) which then opens the doors wide open for emunah shelaimah (Complete and absolute faith) THANK YOU HASHEM!

I purposely quoted from Rebbe Nachmen that he felt that shivron lev brings one to ultimate JOY. However, since learning with my learning partner a few weeks ago about this method, we have started a serious research into JOY to see if we can find more tools other than shivron lev to get one to simcha. Soon I will post my findings on Simcha and how it takes us to Emunah. For now, the only source I found to reach the ultimate levels of simcha is through Shivron Lev as Rebbe Nachman points out. I am open to people feeding me sources for my research. Please read tomorrow's, 23 Adar post about my project and why I'm looking more and more into Simcha.

28 Shevat 5770: Step 7 of the Emunah Diet. Exercises Step 7: At the end of the weekend count how many times you were able to keep quiet and give the benefit of the doubt to everyone. Always remember to say THANK YOU HASHEM throughout the day. T H A N K * Y O U * H A S H E M!

More Bitul work

27 Teves 5770: Building from our last post. We then make a list of as many people as we can recall who have been there for us and next to each name we write "Thank You Hashem" and we then pray for them in our next davening. This form of recognizing the good that Hashem does for us will bring us closer to Hashem with Emunah, Bitachon, and B'Simcha. Thank You Hashem

Bitul Exercise

26 Teves 5770: After trying (below) for one day, now try it for two days in a row and write down a list of everyone who ever harmed you and then write next to it "I Forgive you completely" and realize it was from Hashem and only for the good. The feeling will set you free! It's all from Hashem, and it's all good. THANK YOU HASHEM

Bitul

20 Teves 5770: Bitul (Letting Go) with Emunah (faith) means that we let go of our fears and we let go and let Hashem. This allows us to stay away from Kochi Veutzim Yodi (everything is of MY doing) Letting go plus Faith equals to the process of knowing that everything is from Hashem the good drama and what we call the bad. Try it for ONE day. Let go and let Hashem, you will be greatly surprised by the outcome. THANK YOU HASHEM

Opening & Closing Doors

Growing from Nituk to Tikun

18 MarCheshvon: When Nituk (separation, abandonment) is at its highest strength and you can feel the pressure or the loss. You then let go, free fall, and watch as Hashem is mashlaym (completes) the process from Nituk to Tikun (fix). This moment is breathtaking as you realize that the Nituk was really a tikun all along... THANK YOU HASHEM

Sunday, August 23 09: Why is it that our PERSONAL feelings get in the way of Emunah? Because a "lack of Emunah" is the norm, and working on creating a better sense of Emunah takes serious time, commitment and N.T.* energy. Therefore, one must practice seeing the good points in self often, as this leads to less "lack of" and more "Acceptance of Emunah" into our daily lives. THANK YOU HASHEM

Wednesday, August 19 09: Erev Rosh Chodesh Elul: Please light a candle today for my grandfather Rebbe Eliezer Zusia ben Yisroel Avraham zatzal. He was a great man who led by example. He treated my grandmother with the greatest levels of love, respect, honor, and understanding. He gave me my first lessons in Emunah. May his memory serve as a beacon of light upon all of us. Thank You Hashem!

Hakoras HaTov (Positive Recognition) My grandfather adopted hundreds of orphans, widows and widowers throughout the war torn years. He treated them like his very own children. Upon his death in 1982, he left behind thousands of gems along his path. When he married my grandmother, a tiny light shone through the most darkest days I have ever seen. This light has led me onto the path I am on today. I am grateful to Hashem for bringing my grandfather into my life. The biggest one that is sent almost daily is "Giving the benefit of the doubt" to self, others, and Hashem. Emunah Bitachon Besimcha Tuesday, August 11 09: (Likutay Halachos) Emunah is something very powerful. Emunah is dependent in the mouth of a person. Therefore, a person should speak about Emunah. As it says (Psalms 89) "I will make known your faithfulness with my mouth" When a person falls into a lack of emunah here is a good idea how to snap back: "Talk emunah with your mouth" This in and of itself constitutes Emunah. Continued from yesterday... Then as David wanted to show his strength, he decided to take the goblet belonging to the King. The King was guarded by a very strong guard. As David took the goblet he crawled under the great legs of the then sleeping guard. Suddenly, the huge man's leg dropped and crushed David. David said to Hashem, "Please don't forsake me now" and Hashem sent a bee, and it bit the leg of the guard and for the instant that the guard lifted his leg, David was able to escape. Then he realized that Hashem showed him that all three things have purpose, it must be there is purpose to it all. The path to trust

Emunah Bitachon Besimcha Monday, August 03 09: (from the sefer Ani Bechasdecha Butachtee) The path to Bitachon (trust) passes through the simple and basic belief in Emunah (faith). Therefore, if one wants to awaken to have more Emunah he should take the simplest path. Before taking any action, first FEEL that with your simple faith in Hashem, you will get closer to Him. THANK YOU HASHEM! Say it often, and mean it!

Awakening from the darkness

Emunah Bitachon Besimcha Tuesday, July 28 09: PART THREE NT: Alot Hashachar means, when the morning rises. The word Shachar (morning) and Shachor (darkness) comes from the same word root. Therefore, R' N. teaches us that in the morning (shachar) when we rise from our darkness (shachor) is when we need to judge ourselves more favorably and to see the good in us (nekuda tova). This way we awaken with a roar from within our darkness.

Now we must awaken and take our firststep forward on this new path of seeing the good in us, the good in others and the good in everything Hashem created in this world.

It is precisely at this point one must see the good in himself and not ponder on bad things. One needs to wake up from their own slumber and judge themselves in a favorable way. This will bring you closer to Emunah in Hashem and will allow you to pray better and be a better person.
